Group Care Toolkit

This Toolkit is a concrete guide based on the experience of sites throughout the world that profoundly changed the way antenatal and postnatal care is delivered and experienced through implementing Group Care. We encourage you to utilise the resources provided in the Toolkit to support planning, imple-mentation, and scale-up. By using these resources, you become part of a global community working to implement Group Care.

Changing the way healthcare is provided requires vision of what might be possible as well as guidance through the implementation process. Such change is both exciting and challenging. Group Care provides an opportunity for participants to learn from each other and to share their joys and concerns in a supportive environment. Healthcare provider-facilitators, support staff and pregnant and parenting people all benefit from Group Care.
